Kathy J. Caldwell was voted by the American Society of Civil Engineers membership as president-elect for 2010.
Dr. Dixie Griffin, a professor of civil engineering at Louisiana Tech, received the Prosper Toups Training Award from the Louisiana Rural Water Association. The association received a 2009 Environmental Leadership Program Award, presented by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.
