Secured with a barrel lock, the steel locking pipe plug prevents unauthorized use of service during meter or service piping change-outs. Made of diecast zinc alloy, the wing-type valve protector encloses the barrel lock, protecting it from physical attack, including hacksaws and hammer blows.
