Clint Roos was hired as a civil engineer by Midwestern Engineers Inc. of Indiana. He is a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers and the Indiana Association of Floodplain and Stormwater Management. Midwestern Engineers Inc. specializes in providing practical designs and efficient solutions to the public and private sector with an emphasis in the stormwater, drinking water and wastewater industries.

Jason Nortz was hired as the director of the Development Services Department, which includes stormwater staff, for the City of Asheville, North Carolina.

Adam Isaacson, Matt Cupp and Kevin Evans joined Otak Inc. and will be working out of the firm’s office in Redmond, Washington. Otak is an engineering, urban design, architecture and planning firm that includes stormwater topics among its area of expertise. Isaacson and Cupp are civil engineering designers, while Evans is an engineering designer and water resource analyst.

Cass Township received a $40,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Community Conservation Partnerships Program. The grant is for the rehabilitation and further development of Condor Commons Park. The work will include construction of stormwater management measures.
