NASSCO has released its latest revision to the Specifications Guidelines. The new SG-12.0.8/07 replaces the SG-11-.1.5/ 05, issued in May 2005.
This latest revision includes more than 120 specifications and guidelines. The specifications within this CD-ROM are a compilation of material supplied by member and vendor firms. The previous version (SG-11) contained 64 specifications and guidelines; the latest version (SG-12) contains 120 specifications and guidelines. It would require a book of more than 600 pages if it were available in a hard copy format.
To illustrate how much the information has expanded: The previous version contained 11 specifications that dealt with manhole rehabilitation. The new version contains 31 such specifications.
A free copy of the SG-12 has been mailed to all NASSCO members as part of the on-going member services. Non-members can purchase a copy of the SG-12 for $95. Members can buy additional copies for $45 each.
SG-12 can be purchased online at the NASSCO web site, www.nassco.org, by selecting Publications. The Speci-fication Guidelines CD is a useful tool to anyone in the pipeline and manhole rehabilitation industry. It provides logical groupings of products and processes widely used and provided by NASSCO members. We expect thousands of copies to be distributed between now and the next revision in spring/summer 2009.
