Franklin Electric supports military vet with home water system solutions
Franklin Electric was one of several manufacturers that teamed with the national television series Military Makeover to provide retired military veteran Kevin Parke and his family of seven with multiple water system solutions for their home in Crestview, Florida. Franklin Electric’s pumping solutions included an Inline 400 pressure boosting system, Koi pond water feature, Little Giant WRS Series compact water removal system, Little Giant VCMX-20 Series condensate pump and a Little Giant disappearing fountain feature.

Federal Signal opens FS Solutions facility
Federal Signal’s Environmental Solutions Group opened a FS Solutions service center in Midland, Texas, as part of the group’s expansion of FS Solutions locations and service offerings in key areas throughout North America. Centers offer parts and accessories for Federal Signal’s Guzzler vacuum trucks and Vactor hydroexcavtors, as well as other makes and models.

Hydra-Flex names national sales manager
Hydra-Flex named Joshua Pelovsky national industrial sales manager. Based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Burnsville, Minnesota, he will focus on hydroexcavation and industrial cleaning products.

Jenny Products’ electric air compressors achieve UL certification
Electric air compressors by Jenny Products have been certified to UL 1450 and C22.2 No. 68-09 safety standards covering motor-operated air compressors, vacuum pumps and painting equipment for the United State and Canada. The requirements for the certification were issued by CSA (Canadian Standards Association), which found that Jenny air compressors met the high safety standards of the UL 1450 code.

JWC Environmental names regional sales manager
Paul Schuitt joined JWC Environmental as the western regional sales manager for the municipal wastewater market. Schuitt has over 31 years of operations and maintenance experience in the water and wastewater industry and 16 years of equipment sales, service and consulting as principal of GPS Environmental.

Brown and Caldwell scientist to chair advisory committee
Tamara Sorell, chief scientist at Brown and Caldwell, was named chair of the steering committee of the Sediment Advisory Group (SEDAG) for the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC). Sorrell brings nearly 30 years of human health and ecological risk assessment experience to her new leadership role and is a nationally recognized sediments expert.
