The 2014 Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo International is only three months away. As you begin (or finish) your holiday shopping, don’t forget to reward yourself for another year of hard work with a trip to the industry’s biggest trade show. Plan your trip now by booking a hotel, and creating a schedule of the companies you’d like to visit and the seminars you want to attend.

The Expo runs from Monday, Feb. 24 to Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. Preregistration is $50 until Jan. 24. After Jan. 24 the rate is $70 for full registration.

Attendee registrations are increasing daily so make sure you’re part of the Pumper & Cleaner Expo experience. Plan your itinerary with the interactive floor plan available at www.pumpershow.com

More companies have been added to the online exhibitor list, so take a look and check back often to see what’s new. Companies are updating their information, descriptions, product categories and more.

Held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27 in the main concession area, roundtable discussions are back again this year after receiving rave reviews from previous attendees. Moderated by industry professionals, roundtable discussions offer the ideal networking opportunity and a chance to discuss your most pressing issues with your peers.

Four industry issues have been selected for the free small-group discussions with more to come:

  1. PSAI – Hot Topics
  2. Tank-Truck Rollover Prevention and Safety
  3. Marketing
  4. NAWT – Hot Topics

With a great turnout last year, live outside equipment demos also are back in 2014. More information on schedules will be provided as details are finalized. “Demos are valuable for attendees to see how the equipment and exhibitors all work together and compliment each other,” says Brad Bisnette, trade show coordinator.

CUES, Avanti International and Logiball will team up to do an above-ground grouting demonstration on sealing mainline joints and lateral connections in a sewer system with acrylic grout conveyed through remote packers, and controlled and monitored by CUES Granite software.

GapVax will demonstrate vacuuming and jetting with its combination jet/vac sewer cleaner. NozzTeq will then use the GapVax unit to demonstrate its BL SWIPER Nozzle, which helps prevent blown toilets. NozzTeq will also demonstrate the Paikert Hydro-Torque impact cutter at 4,000 psi on concrete.

State credits and CEU information has been updated for specific states on the Expo website. State representatives approve continuing education credits and determine which sessions and how many CEUs they will offer. If your state isn’t listed, check back as more states are added daily.

Country music star Lee Brice, this year’s entertainer, just received Song of the Year for “I Drive Your Truck” at the 2013 CMA Awards. Be sure to check him out after Industry Appreciation Party on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m., in the JW Marriott ballroom.
