Singer Valve, a manufacturer of control valves, hosted a grand opening of their manufacturing plant in Taicang, China, complete with ceremony, plant tour and traditional Chinese banquet for close to 100 people.

“It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the facility, meet with new agents and recognize the many individuals and organizations that made this new facility possible,” said Li Jun, general manager for China.

Guests included several dignitaries: Canadian Trade Commissioner Brooke Davis – Canadian Consulate Shanghai; Feng Yuliang, vice director Administration Committee of Taicang Economy Development Area Jiangsu Province; John McDonald, managing director with British Columbia Canada International Trade Investment Office – East Asia; among others. Agents throughout Asia flew in to see the new plant along with local Chinese agents and senior officials of Singer Valve Canada.

Singer Valve looks forward to supplying the domestic Chinese market with high-quality automatic control valve products, many of these manufactured locally in the new state-of-the-art sales, manufacturing and assembly facility.
