Global Pump provides preventive flood relief
Global Pump Company assisted Clemson University in advance of a recent home football game as heavy rain from Hurricane Joaquin devastated parts of South Carolina. The company provided four 18GSTAP diesel-driven pumps, which were tied in to independent 18-inch HDPE discharge lines with a discharge run approximately 600 feet from the pumps. The pumps pulled from a basin that fed an U.S. Army Corps of Engineers pump station, which pumped the water into Lake Hartwell.

Envirosight names channel development manager
Envirosight has announced the hire of Steve Webster as channel development manager. Webster will split his time between product and service management for the company’s regional sales partners. With over 32 years of industry experience, he’ll be tasked with conducting product launches and product demos.

Smith Flow Control USA has appointed Tracey Goldsmith as its new president. Goldsmith, who joined the company is 2012, is responsible for strategic development and global operations. She has over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance and management.

CH2M hospital project earns achievement award
The Oregon State Hospital in Junction City, Oregon, received a Project Achievement Award from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). CH2M was the project’s construction manager.

Nu Flow appoints two new executives
Nu Flow named Justin Mizell executive vice president. He will be responsible for overseeing sales throughout Nu Flow’s East Coast locations. Joshua Shrock was named vice president of East Coast operations.
