Vote to Support the First Sewer-Themed LEGO Design

A user by the name of MOCingbird on the LEGO IDEAS platform has created the first-ever sewer-themed fan design and is the first to pay tribute to water/wastewater workers by starring two sewerage technicians as the set’s main protagonists.

Currently, the design is in the voting phase on the LEGO IDEAS website, which includes detailed information about the set, more pictures and a button where you can offer your support to the project. Should it receive 10,000 supporters, it will advance to the review stage and get a chance at being produced as an official LEGO set.

“I think there should be a lot more people working/interested in water/wastewater-related jobs ready to support the model, if they would only get to know about it,” says MOCingbird. “The model lends itself to display for adult collectors and kids’ play as well — educating children about urban underground work and infrastructure while playing.”

The design currently has more than 7,000 votes. To support the project, visit this page and click the “Support” button. Note: You will have to create an account for the system to count your vote, but wouldn’t it be worth it to someday see the water/wastewater industry represented in official LEGO products?
