The Milwaukee County Zoo, founded in 1978, was designed to offer educational public views of exotic animals in natural habitats on a 200-acre site. From the beginning, the zoo was committed to using safe, green, environmentally friendly processes. That includes the ongoing challenge to gather and dispose of over 15 tons of animal waste generated by the zoo’s 2,100 animals every week.

The Milwaukee Zoo solution involves a collection of underground pit locations, where animal waste is safely collected and then efficiently extracted and disposed of using a Vacall AllCatch high-performance vacuum vehicle.
