Brand-New Operator Enclosure Is a Key Feature of Updated X-Cavator by Vac-Con

Get out of the cold and off your feet in the X-Cavator's new operator enclosure

Get an up-close look at Vac-Con’s all-new X-Cavator in this video from the 2020 Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport (WWETT) Show. National sales manager for Vac-Con, Bryce Rieger, talks about the machine’s new operator enclosure.

“This is brand new to Vac-Con," Rieger says. "What we did was try to create an environment where operators can get out of the cold weather up north when they’re out working in the field for long hours."

Everything in the operator enclosure is climate controlled and fully adjustable by the operator, which means it works just as well for hotter climates that can make use of air conditioning. The station also includes a jump seat so operators can get off their feet, as well as a storage rack for tools or garments.

The company has worked closely with its customers to develop updated features for the X-Cavator, including the all-new operator enclosure. At home in utility sites, heavy construction zones, telecommunication sites, and oil and gas fields, the X-Cavator is a nondestructive and efficient hydroexcavation machine.
