NASTT Unveils New Plans for Postponed 2020 No-Dig Show

The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) recently announced new plans for its 2020 No-Dig Show, initially scheduled for April in Denver that had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

NASTT is coming together with its Canadian chapters and will be holding the 2020 No-Dig Show and No-Dig North 2020 as one North American event to celebrate the trenchless industry and NASTT’s 30th anniversary. The event will take place Oct. 19-21 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

“We are looking forward to an exciting and collaborative event where we bring together the entire industry from across North America to celebrate our great industry and this milestone anniversary of 30 years of NASTT,” says Craig Vandaelle, chair of the NASTT board of directors. “This will be a pinnacle event to get out and network and get back to business after these unprecedented times.”

The show will begin with four pre-event “Good Practices” courses on Monday, Oct. 19. The courses include Cured-In-Place Pipe Good Practices, New Installation Methods Good Practices, Pipe Bursting Good Practices, and Horizontal Directional Drilling Good Practices. Following the courses, an opening reception for all attendees will take place in the exhibit hall.

All attendees are invited to the Kick-Off Breakfast Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the exhibit hall. Additionally, four tracks of technical paper presentations will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and Wednesday, Oct. 21. Tracks include CIPP, Condition Assessment, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Microtunneling, Sliplining, Tunneling and more. The exhibit hall will also be open all day on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

The NASTT Educational Fund helps to raise money for the many educational programs offered by NASTT including university student scholarships, municipal scholarships, publications and technical training courses. The $5,000 Hawaiian Vacation Raffle, sponsored by Vermeer, will be drawn during lunch before the close of the show on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Raffle tickets can be purchased online, and you do not need to be present to win.

The host hotel is the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. Registration for attendees, sponsors and exhibitors is now open
