A significant water main break in Detroit recently resulted in part of a road buckling near West Fort Street and Dearborn Street, ultimately causing the demolition of a cannabis dispensary that was damaged in the incident.The Detroit Department of Public Works announced an indefinite road closure in the area while ordering the demolition of Stash Detroit.Officials are calling it an “unknown underground issue,” but it is confirmed that a water main break occurred and caused damage to DTE Energy’s gas and electric infrastructure.
