Pulsar Measurement has achieved MCERTS certification for three of its flagship product ranges, reinforcing its commitment to accuracy and compliance in the UK water industry. The Ultra 4 controller, when paired with the dBR8 radar and dB6 ultrasonic sensors, has been awarded MCERTS Class 1 certification, the highest level of performance. Meanwhile, the TTFM 6.1 transit time flowmeter has achieved MCERTS Class 2 certification.
MCERTS, the Environment Agency’s Monitoring Certification Scheme, is the recognised standard for environmental monitoring equipment in the UK. Certification assures water companies, regulators and consultants that equipment meets stringent performance, reliability and quality standards.
Independent testing has confirmed that Pulsar Measurement’s Ultra 4 controller with dBR8 radar sensor achieves an accuracy of 0.02% over 8 meters. The Ultra 4 with dB6 ultrasonic transducer achieved a strong 0.07% accuracy over 6 meters.
Alongside this, the TTFM 6.1 transit time flowmeter has achieved MCERTS Class 2 certification, providing robust and dependable flow measurement performance with the assurance of recognised regulatory compliance.
