Two industry associations focused on safety issues are combining forces. The Common Ground Alliance (CGA), a national nonprofit trade association dedicated to protecting underground utility lines and the people who dig near them, and the Gold Shovel Association (GSA), a nonprofit association focused on continuously improving safety by providing meaningful damage prevention certifications and standardized performance metrics, recently announced that they will be exploring establishing a new arm of CGA that will integrate GSA into the organization.The collective industry commitment of both associations will provide an opportunity to take damage prevention to the next level.
