Makita released the next generation of 12 volt with the 12V max CXT lithium-ion cordless tool series. Makita 12V max CXT features slide-style batteries so each tool’s handle is built with ergonomics in mind – not around the stem of a battery – for improved grip and comfort. Select models mark the first ever Makita brushless tools in the 12V category.The launch lineup includes two driver-drills, a hammer driver-drill, impact driver, recipro saw, and 3 3/8-inch circular saw, as well as select two-piece combo kits. There is also a brushless driver-drill and brushless hammer driver-drill. All eight tools are powered by new 12V max
