Workers inspected about one-third of a 6,400-foot sewer system under Griffith Park in Los Angeles over the span of 13 hours Sunday night into Monday. The objective had nothing to do with the system itself. Rather it was about rescuing a 13-year-old boy who had accidentally fallen into a sewer pipe. According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, Jesse Hernandez was picnicking with his family in Griffith Park prior to going missing at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
