Memphis Lifts Boil-Water Advisory After Cold-Weather Pipe Bursts

After five days, Memphis (Tennessee) Light, Gas and Water lifted the boil-water advisory affecting over 600,000 people in the city. The advisory was a response to freezing temperatures causing widespread pipe bursts.

The cold spell impacted not just Memphis but also numerous other Tennessee water systems, leading to boil-water notices and operational issues across the state.
