Crane Pumps & Systems is proud to introduce the Barnes SyFlo: an advanced, high-efficiency solids handling pump built for exceptional performance, long-term reliability, and cost-saving operation. Designed to meet the toughest wastewater demands, Barnes SyFlo merges innovative hydraulic engineering with a compact, rugged construction.

Featuring scroll and vortex impellers, Barnes SyFlo offers excellent clog resistance and hydraulic efficiency, making it an ideal solution for municipalities, industrial operations, and any application requiring reliable solids handling with reduced energy and maintenance costs.

What’s in a name?

The name SyFlo is derived from “synthesis,” reflecting the integration of multiple high-performance technologies into one powerful solution. “Sy” signals innovation and system synergy, while “Flo” represents smooth, consistent water flow. Together, the name underscores Barnes SyFlo’s ability to deliver continuous, reliable operation — even in challenging conditions.

Smarter pumping from the ground up

Phase one of the Barnes SyFlo launch includes 3-inch and 4-inch hydraulic configurations, with 7.5–15 hp models operating at four-pole (1,750 rpm). The full range will soon expand to cover 3–15 hp in both two- and four-pole configurations, maintaining the 3-inch and 4-inch discharge range. Across the line, users will benefit from broader hydraulic coverage and simplified selection.

Key features and benefits

  • Superior solids handling: Improved clog resistance ensures consistent performance and extended pump life
  • Optimized hydraulic efficiency: Achieves required performance at equal or lower horsepower than comparable alternatives
  • Expanded performance coverage: Broad hydraulic range with fewer models simplifies the selection process
  • Shallower lift stations: Reduce construction and installation costs
  • Simplified installation: Stainless steel quick disconnect power cord and compact footprint streamline setup and upgrades
  • Enhanced reliability: One-piece motor housing design eliminates common leak points
  • Energy savings: Advanced motor cooling enables continuous operation — even when partially submerged

With Barnes SyFlo, there’s no need to compromise. This next-generation pump brings together innovation, efficiency and dependability in one high-performing solution.
