Todd Carlson retired as the city of Duluth (Minnesota) stormwater program coordinator.

Adam Evans was hired by Brown and Caldwell (Texas) as vice president and area leader. He will direct teams involved in various projects, including stormwater efforts.

Andrew Harrison was hired by Schnabel Engineering (Virginia) as associate scientist. He has extensive project management experience in several areas, including stormwater management.  

Fred Mullard was named village administrator for the village of Lake in the Hills, Illinois. He previously served as community services director and represented the village on the McHenry County stormwater technical advisory committee. 

The town of Swansboro received a Pelican Award from the North Carolina Coastal Federation in Carteret County for its stewardship efforts. The projects are implementing the town’s watershed restoration plan for reducing polluted stormwater runoff.

The city of Washington (North Carolina) received $3 million from the Golden LEAF Foundation for stormwater improvements in the medical district.

Robb Whitaker of the Water Replenishment District (California) received the 2020 Excellence in Water Leadership Award from the Association of California Water Agencies. Among many achievements during a 33-year career, he was the key architect in the planning and implementation of the district’s Water Independence Now initiative, a 15-year effort to entirely offset the district’s groundwater replenishment demands with local stormwater and recycled water supplies.
