SJE acquires LangeTech and AMI Global
SJE announced the acquisition of LangeTech, a supplier of consulting, programming and engineering services for the automation industry. Founded in 2002, LangeTech specializes in comprehensive system integration and automation solutions, serving industries with a wide array of technical services. The company’s expertise encompasses total system integration, including control system architecture, hardware, software development, instrumentation and project management. LangeTech offerings also include SCADA and control systems for local and remote operations across various sectors, such as water and wastewater and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
SJE also announced the acquisition of AMI Global from Cimbria Capital. With the combined capabilities, SJE expects to accelerate the delivery of advanced cloud connected opportunities and offer its customers a comprehensive platform of remote monitoring solutions. Founded in 2009, AMI Global delivers simple, cost-effective and scalable cloud solutions for industrial equipment manufacturers.
Toro Company to acquire Tornado Infrastructure Equipment
The Toro Company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire publicly held Tornado Infrastructure Equipment. The transaction is subject to certain antitrust and other regulatory approvals, approval by Tornado’s security holders and other customary closing conditions, which is currently anticipated to close during Toro’s fiscal 2026 first quarter. Calgary, Alberta-based Tornado Infrastructure Equipment manufactures vacuum trucks and industrial equipment solutions. In 2022, Toro’s Ditch Witch division entered into a strategic supply agreement with Tornado Infrastructure Equipment to co-develop an exclusive line of Ditch Witch-branded hydrovac trucks to expand its product offering and capitalize on accelerated growth in vacuum excavation.
Brown and Caldwell promotes Wendy Broley
Brown and Caldwell has promoted San Diego-based Wendy Broley to private sector business unit leader. In this new role, Broley will oversee the company’s full suite of environmental services and tailored solutions for private sector clients. She previously served as Brown and Caldwell’s chief technical officer and brings more than 20 years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering, operations and leadership.
Yardney Water Filtration Systems expands rep network
Yardney Water Filtration Systems has added Hennesy Mechanical Sales and O’Connor Sales to its growing network of sales representatives. Hennesy Mechanical Sales, a division of DXP Enterprises, will support Yardney’s efforts by delivering high-performance water and wastewater treatment equipment, technical consultation and project support in Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso County, Texas. With more than 40 years in the industry, O’Connor Sales will exclusively represent Yardney’s solutions in the irrigation and landscape markets across California and Nevada.
Lane Enterprises completes integration with Pacific Corrugated Pipe
Pennsylvania-based Lane Enterprises announced the full integration of Pacific Corrugated Pipe, which the company acquired in 2021. Effective Jan. 1, 2026, the Pacific Corrugated Pipe brand will be fully unified under Lane Enterprises. Over the past four years, the companies have expanded with new manufacturing facilities on both coasts and achieved significant growth. Since the acquisition, both companies have operated independently under Lane Enterprises Holdings, combining their strengths to enhance service capabilities. Lane also operates a full coatings facility for both galvanizing and polymer coatings.
Joe Johnson expands U.S. footprint
Federal Signal has named Joe Johnson Equipment the exclusive dealer for its Vactor products in Indiana and Louisiana and the exclusive dealer for Elgin products in Indiana, excluding Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. Additionally, JJE will also provide service and parts support for other Federal Signal products including Guzzler and Truvac. This announcement comes after JJE completed its successful expansion into Virginia and underscores the company’s commitment to delivering infrastructure equipment and solutions across the U.S.
Maryland city renews partnership to use Veolia’s AI in treatment
The city of Holyoke, Maryland, renewed its partnership with Veolia to modernize wastewater operations, becoming one of the first cities in the Northeast to integrate AI and digital twins into wastewater treatment. Under the new 10-year agreement, Veolia will operate and upgrade Holyoke’s municipal wastewater treatment plant — which serves nearly 40,000 homes and businesses along the Connecticut River — using its Hubgrade digital platform. The system leverages AI, robotics and predictive analytics to optimize energy use, chemical consumption and maintenance schedules, helping extend the lifespan of key infrastructure and reduce environmental impact.
INEXA Aqua Services and IonClear form strategic alliance
INEXA Aqua Services SL, an environmental engineering firm focused on seawater desalination plant design and performance optimization, and membrane technology company IonClear, announced a strategic alliance to deliver high-efficiency water treatment systems for desalination, reclamation and reuse applications worldwide. Drawing on more than two decades of engineering and operational expertise, the partnership will focus on designing and building systems that help operators produce more clean water with less energy, extend equipment life and reduce environmental impact.
