Mueller Co. has expanded the Lineseal butterfly valve product line to include the Lineseal 350. This valve offers 350 psi operating pressure, under flow conditions of 16 feet per second up to temperatures of 250 degrees F, and meets the design criteria for AWWA C504. This new valve is available in 6- to 36-inch sizes for mechanical joint ends and 6- to 48-inch sizes for flanged ends. The nonmetallic bearings prevent galvanic corrosion and provide a lower coefficient of friction, and the chevron “V” type packing is self-adjusting to last the life of the valve.
