The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) has announced that due to the North American response to COVID-19, its 2020 No-Dig Show originally scheduled for April 5-9 in Denver has been postponed.

In a statement sent to attendees and exhibitors, NASTT and its board of directors said the Colorado Convention Center has been instructed to cancel all its events through mid-April. “Further, space for our conference to be held later this year at the Denver Convention Center is not currently available,” reads the statement. “For these reasons we are beginning to look at alternatives to bring you a memorable and valuable trenchless event, in this, our 30th year of trenchless education.”

Craig Vandaelle, the chair of NASTT’s board of directors, says the society’s community has experienced significant impacts over the last few weeks including corporate travel bans, government travel bans, venues closing, and public events and gatherings postponed in order to protect the health and wellness of our citizens. “We are confident that we will be able to switch gears and make alternate arrangements for the 2020 NASTT No-Dig Show and we look forward to communicating these changes to you in the coming days and weeks,” he says.

“The board of directors and the NASTT staff thank you all for your understanding and continued support of NASTT,” reads the society’s statement. “We look forward to seeing you all soon!”
