Barbco will be a sponsor of the fourth annual Auger Boring School from Oct. 25 through Oct. 29 at the Barbera Education, Research & Training Facility at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.

The Trenchless Technology Center at Louisiana Tech University is partnering with the Construction Engineering & Management program at the College of Engineering at Purdue University. The five-day school has been developed to provide students the knowledge and background to understand the important components of auger boring operations in producing successful trenchless excavation projects. Students will receive practical hands-on experience under the skillful instruction of some of the nation’s foremost experts in addition to classroom training.

Barbco, along with its authorized dealers Trenchless Rental Solutions and U.S. Shoring, will provide not only expert instruction but also state-of-the-art Barbco auger boring machines, shoring equipment, and other resources.

Course directors Tom Iseley of Purdue University and John Matthews of Louisiana Tech University are looking forward to a strong enrollment of students. This five-day school has been specifically designed for contractors, engineers, project superintendents, foremen, crew members, estimators, public officials, educators, state highway department representatives, and regulatory agency representatives.

The registration fee is $1,995 per student. For those registering by Sept. 20, the fee is only $1,795. Register by emailing Saleh Behbahani at sbe013@latech.edu or Fredda Wagner at fredda@latech.edu, or by calling 318-257-4072.
