VMAC Releases 2022 State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report

The 2022 edition of VMAC’s State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report has been released, sharing insights from mobile air users.

“We are pleased to release VMAC’s latest research on the mobile compressed air industry,” says Tod Gilbert, president of VMAC Global Technology Inc. “There is a lot of uncertainty with global events and supply chain disruption, and we believe this report provides business leaders with a unique perspective on the mobile air industry, helping to make confident decisions towards their success.”

Industry leaders can use the State of The Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report to compare their businesses to their peers. This year’s survey focuses on four key areas of interest: demographics, fleets, equipment including air compressors, and recent business challenges.

“Our respondents answer many of the same questions year over year, but we also curate questions carefully to represent what’s currently happening within the industry,” says Mike Pettigrew, marketing manager at VMAC. “This year’s survey dives into the supply chain and pandemic challenges more deeply than in the past, and we’ve seen an interesting shift in attitude from respondents.”

VMAC surveyed 340 people between November 2021 and February 2022 for this year’s state of industry research. The survey asked questions of respondents who represented numerous industries, including construction, transportation, oil and gas, municipal infrastructure, agriculture and more.

“This survey becomes more popular every year,” says Pettigrew. “The research we conduct is important for understanding changes within the mobile air industry, and we are happy to share the results with our peers.”
