VMAC Earns Great Place to Work Certification for Fifth Straight Year

VMAC has secured its status as a Great Place To Work for 2023-2024, earning this certification for the fifth consecutive year. To become certified, coworkers must answer an anonymous Trust Index Employee Survey that focuses on five categories: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

“This certification is particularly meaningful because it’s coworker-driven,” says Tod Gilbert, VMAC president. “Our team collectively declared VMAC a great place to work. Our success can be attributed to our team fostering an extraordinary people-centric culture built on trust, innovation and coworker empowerment.”

To become Great Place to Work certified, organizations follow a two-step process. In addition to the anonymous Trust Index Employee Survey administered by Great Place to Work, organizations must also complete a questionnaire about their work culture, describing in detail how the organization creates a great place to work environment.

“We can all be proud of this national certification, which recognizes the friendly, respectful, trustworthy and continuous improvement culture we value at VMAC,” says Sim Nesbitt, VMAC’s human resources manager. “Our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement can be seen throughout VMAC, from the air compressor and multi-power solutions we design and manufacture in-house for our partners and customers to the financial, educational and health and wellness benefits we offer our coworkers.”

VMAC is a diverse group of people who work together to deliver innovative mobile compressed air products and technology. VMAC offers careers in assembly, fabrication, CNC machining, electrical and mechanical engineering, sales and marketing, finance, supply chain, and management.
