LANXESS wins sustainability award for PFAS removal technology
LANXESS received a 2026 Sustainability Leadership Award from the American Chemistry Council for its innovative technology used to protect public drinking water, surface and groundwater systems. Presented at the ACC’s 2026 Responsible Care Ceremony, the award recognizes LANXESS for its innovation in addressing the reduction of PFAS, often referred to as "forever chemicals" in drinking water sources. 

SJE acquires Anchor Scientific
SJE has acquired Anchor Scientific, a manufacturer and distributor of switches and controllers for the water and wastewater industry. The acquisition marks SJE’s eighth acquisition since 2021 and first in 2026. Founded in 1965 and run by brothers John and David Potter, Anchor Scientific has a history of manufacturing a wide range of float switches and other products from its facility in Long Lake, Minnesota.  

Romtec Utilities welcomes back Kyle Perrin
Romtec Utilities announced that Kyle Perrin has rejoined the company as director of business development. Perrin previously spent several years with Romtec Utilities where he helped expand the company’s footprint and strengthen relationships with owners, engineers and contractors. He has held roles in project management and sales management, giving him broad knowledge of Romtec Utilities’ packaged pumping systems and the full project life cycle. After gaining additional experience outside the organization, Perrin returns to help Romtec Utilities accelerate growth, deepen customer partnerships and continue delivering dependable, site-specific solutions nationwide. 

McElroy recognized for commitment to workplace safety
McElroy was recognized for its commitment to workplace safety and its participation in the OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program. Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Leslie Osborn presented the company with a proclamation commending leadership and employees at McElroy’s Broken Arrow campus. She and OSHA Consultation Director Jason Hudson also presented company leadership with a flag announcing McElroy’s SHARP-certified status. The Broken Arrow campus is the latest addition to McElroy’s four Tulsa-area locations. Purchased in 2023, it houses the assembly, shipping and warehouse space for the company’s medium-diameter fusion machine lines. SHARP is an on-site consultation program that offers confidential occupational safety and health services to small- and medium-sized businesses in the U.S., free of charge. Consultants from local agencies or universities work with employers to identify workplace hazards, provide advice for compliance with OSHA standards and assist in establishing and improving safety and health programs. 

Tencarva Machinery acquires WWaterTech Services
Tencarva Machinery, a value-added distributor and service provider of flow control and process equipment solutions to industrial and municipal end markets, has acquired WWaterTech Services. Serving municipal end markets in Texas and Oklahoma, WWaterTech provides engineers with access to a comprehensive portfolio of water and wastewater process equipment from approximately 60 unique vendors. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Waller, Texas, President and Owner Steve Holt leads WWaterTech. After ensuring a smooth transition, Holt will gradually move into an advisory role, and 15-year WWaterTech executive Wes Holt will lead the business as branch manager.
