Dresser Supplies Blower Packages for Egyptian Water Project

Dresser Inc., through its Egyptian distributor Tartoussieh Engineering of Cairo, supplied 249 small Roots Universal RAI blower packages to contractors selected to deploy portable, turnkey water treatment plants to rural villages in Upper Egypt to purify local water and prevent outbreaks of waterborne illnesses. The treatment plants are part of a $240 million initiative by the Egyptian government to provide safe drinking water and expand the capacity of the country’s sanitary sewage treatment infrastructure.

 

Godwin Pumps Names Managers

Godwin Pumps has named Will Buddin branch manager for its Raleigh, N.C.-based rental office and Bill Price to the newly created position of Asset, Logistics and Transportation manager, based in Bridgeport, N.J. Buddin has seven years experience in the equipment industry and holds a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel. Price has 20 years of industry experience.

 

USB-Sewer Equipment Recognizes Top Distributors

WECO Industries, DW Inspection Systems LLC and Texas Municipal Equipment LLC were recognized for outstanding sales performance in 2009 by USB-Sewer Equipment Corp.

 

Vacall Forms Partnership, Names Dealer

Vacall Industries has partnered with Myers to offer an 85 gpm dry-run pump on AllJetVac sewer cleaners/hydroexcavators. The company also named Finkbiner Equipment, Burr Ridge, Ill., as a dealer for its AllJetVac machines.

 

Vanair Hires Director of Purchasing

Jeffrey T. Summerlin has joined Vanair Manufacturing Inc. as director of purchasing. Summerlin has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
