People/AwardsThe City of Tallahassee’s Your Own Utilities/Underground Utilities received the 2015 Governor’s Sterling Award from the Florida Sterling Council.Shawn Massey and Douglas Stevenson were honored as June 2015 Employees of the Month by the City of Valdosta, Georgia. Both men work for the city’s Stormwater Division. Massey is a heavy-equipment operator, and Stevenson is a crew leader.Jim Hafner received a Public Health Award from the Anoka County Board in Minnesota. Hafner, the Stormwater and Wellhead Protection manager for the City of Blaine, was honored for his “dedicated and passionate leadership in the protection of local water resources throughout Anoka County.”
