Per NASSCO bylaws, an Annual Conference is required to bring NASSCO business such as its annual report, operational budget and other important issues before NASSCO members. While association business is the primary purpose of NASSCO’s Annual Conference, the event also provides an opportunity for education, committee meetings and networking.

NASSCO’s 2025 Annual Conference is scheduled for April 7-10 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, California. In years past, post-event attendee surveys revealed that NASSCO members would prefer more time to meet in person to discuss committee goals and activities. In response, for the first time ever, the 2025 NASSCO Annual Conference will cover a period of four days, with an additional day set aside preconference for meetings by NASSCO’s board of directors.

Day 1: Monday, April 7

The day will begin with optional participation in a golf tournament at Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course in Irvine, California. In the afternoon members and their invited guests can relax with lawn games at the resort. That evening, NASSCO will provide a special reception for all first-time attendees, followed by a welcome reception for all members and their guests.

Day 2: Tuesday, April 8

Tuesday will be all business. A general membership meeting will kick off the day, followed by committee meetings throughout the afternoon. While NASSCO members help direct the future of the organization, invited guests will enjoy an optional whale-watching excursion in Newport Beach. That evening, a sponsored cocktail hour will be a great way for members to wind down while the Executive Committee hosts a special private dinner for NASSCO’s past presidents.

Day 3: Wednesday, April 9

Kicking off the morning with an optional yoga class or fun run on the beach, NASSCO members will get back to business with committee meetings scheduled throughout the day. That evening, after dinner on their own, members and invited guests will come together for s’mores at sunset on Huntington Beach, adjacent to the resort.

Day 4: Thursday, April 10

After another morning of group exercise options, the final day of the conference will begin with a special presentation by Dr. Lisa Kobos, associate service fellow at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. She will present NIOSH’s findings on a study of styrene used in the cured-in-place pipe process. NASSCO will also award the first-ever NASSCO Safety Recognition Award to one of its members. Following an afternoon of more committee meetings, members and invited guests will enjoy an awards banquet honoring our outgoing board of directors, welcoming our new board and providing special recognition to NASSCO trainers and volunteers, followed by dinner and dancing.

The 2025 NASSCO Annual Conference is open to all NASSCO members in good standing. To register, visit nassco.org/events. If you are not yet a NASSCO member, we hope you will become part of the NASSCO family by visiting nassco.org/join.
