Charles Cappellino, vice president of research, development and engineering at ITT Corporation’s Industrial Process business, has been recognized by the Hydraulic Institute (HI) for his leadership in helping develop two new pump industry standards. Cappellino leads product development efforts for the company’s Goulds Pumps brand and other leading product lines.
Cappellino served as vice-chair of two HI committees, both commissioned to create a new American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/HI Standard for rotodynamic (centrifugal) pumps, which have rotating impellers to increase pressure and flow rate of a fluid.
