Sewer Equipment names new president
Sewer Equipment announced the appointment of John Wichmann, vice president of operations, as the company’s new president. Wichmann graduated from the University of Illinois in 1983 with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, and in 1998 completed his MBA at the University of Detroit Mercy. He takes over for Dan O’Brien, the company’s past president. O’Brien will continue to stay involved as the company’s owner.

InfoSense hires new sales director
InfoSense announced it hired Walt Woodard as global sales director. He has over 30 years' sales, management and business development experience in a variety of capital intensive industries. He has an MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Georgia Southern University.


Walker named bluefrog Plumbing + Drain chief operating officer
Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain announced that James Walker has joined the brand as chief operating officer. In this role, Walker will oversee bluefrog Plumbing + Drain’s ongoing operations and procedures as the company continues to expand into new markets across the United States.

HammerHead Trenchless announces management promotions
HammerHead Trenchless announced the promotion of three of its top personnel to newly created management positions. Ryan Bolden is now director of support services, and his responsibilities include marketing and e-commerce, inside sales, customer service, service and training, and technical services teams. Brian Kenkel is now director of rehabilitation and replacement. In this position, he leads sales teams and provides product management for the rehabilitation and replacement division. Jeff Urbanski was named the training and technical services manager. He will lead a team of seven technicians tasked with building HammerHead University, an education center dedicated to the trenchless industry. He will also oversee the training facility and direct creation of all e-learning and testing solutions.

QuakeWrap hires Sever as head of Pipeline Division
Dr. Firat Sever, P.E., joined QuakeWrap as head of its expanding Pipeline Division. Sever earned both his civil engineering bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Turkey. He earned his doctorate from Tulane University as a Spaar scholar. He’s also a board-certified environmental engineer.

CSI Controls names new manufacturers’ rep
Watermark Engineered Product Sales is CSI Controls’ new manufacturers’ representative for Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia and western Pennsylvania. The addition of Watermark increases CSI Controls’ growing distribution network into areas previously unrepresented, and will provide a higher level of service to customers in that region.


SJE-Rhombus breaks ground on new manufacturing facility
SJE-Rhombus broke ground on a new 51,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Ashland, Ohio. SJE-Rhombus had been leasing a space for manufacturing in Ashland since acquiring CSI Controls in 2008. However, the current space became insufficient, with manufacturing production areas spread over four separate floors in one building. The new space will increase efficiency by having all areas on one level.

CASE Construction Equipment names new vice president
CASE has named Michel Marchand as vice president for North America, replacing Scott Harris, who has taken a similar role at CASE IH. Marchand, who previously served as the regional sales director for Canada, will now oversee all CASE operations in North America.
