Amidst a heat wave and drought conditions, the North Texas Municipal Water District recently asked residents to immediately reduce their water use.
According to a press release from the district, the Wylie Water Treatment Plant Complex had to cease producing water at one of its four water treatment plants unexpectedly July 16 to perform critical maintenance required to return the plant back to full water purification capacity.All customers in the region were strongly encouraged to conserve water and reduce outdoor watering until further notice is issued by the utility.EPA Officials Tour Pure Water San Diego Project
