HDD Good Practices Course Slated for March 29-30

The North American Society for Trenchless Technology is planning its virtual HDD Good Practices course Wednesday and Thursday, March 29-30, which offers an in-depth overview of horizontal directional drilling.

The course will cover six topics, including operation and application; equipment and materials; planning, including surface and geological investigations, utility surveys, bore planning, and regulations and permitting; job site safety; risk reduction, trouble shooting and mitigation; and design.

Class will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. The course's $300 fee includes attendance to the course, course handouts (training manual and NASTT Good Practices Guidelines book) and a continuing education unit certificate issued by Louisiana Tech University. The digital training manual will be sent prior to the course. The companion book will be sent afterwards.
