Oxford Plastics Continues Its US Expansion

Oxford Plastics, in business for over 35 years, continued its expansion in the U.S. in 2023 with site safety products like LowPro trench covers, road plates and temporary fencing.

Headquartered in Oxfordshire, England, Oxford Plastics announced the strategic recruitment of key positions in both the U.K. and the U.S. that played a pivotal role in its success. The team’s expansion has been concentrated across vital departments, including commercial, operations, logistics and customer care with a total of 38 new hires. The new hires bring diverse expertise to the Oxford Plastics family, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering industry-leading service and innovative solutions to its growing customer base.

In 2023, the company hired new business development manager Mike Riley, who has been spearheading efforts to grow the company's presence in the northeastern U.S. Riley’s role will also involve collaborating with distribution partners to drive market demand and support Oxford Plastics' mission to deliver innovative products to the construction and utility sectors.

Oxford Plastics USA operates four warehouses located in South Carolina, Texas, California and Rhode Island, ensuring efficient and reliable stock availability across the country.

“This past year has been another hugely successful year in OPS and a further step forward in our performance,” says Andy Burns, managing director of Oxford Plastics. “We delivered against our ambitious goals by strengthening our service promise to our customers and by continuing to invest in our people and the organization. As a team, we love to win, and we will do it again in 2024 as there is still so much more to come. Thank you to everyone for their support in making it happen.”

The team at Oxford Plastics is already working on new products which will be released in 2024.
