Dr. Abderrahman Zehraoui was hired as executive director of the Niagara Falls (New York) Water Board.

Andrea Cole was hired as general manager of Dominion Water & Sanitation District, which incorporates a focus on stormwater for Douglas County (Colorado).

Freese and Nichols announced the election of new principals across the firm’s Texas offices:

 Jim Keith, manager in the stormwater engineering group in Dallas

 Krista Bethune Melnar, stormwater practice leader and group manager of the stormwater engineering group in Austin

 Cory Stull, manager in the stormwater engineering group in Houston

The American Planning Association-Federal Planning Division presented U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, a Merit Award in the Environmental Planning category for its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. The plan was recognized for improving the management, function and quality of stormwater runoff.

Tony Rojas retired after 20 years as executive director of the Macon (Georgia) Water Authority.
