The MUNI from PRIMEX is a mechanically activated, narrow-angle, internally weighted municipal float switch suitable for level control in municipal sewage pumping stations. Other applications include stormwater lift stations, nonpotable water, pump up/pump down and programmable logic controllers. The internal switching mechanism contains gold cross-point contacts, providing precision and reliable control signals up to 1 amp. The three-wire cable Single Pole, Double Throw (SPDT) can be wired as normally open or normally closed. The float’s large twin-wall teardrop-shape design offers increased buoyancy, and the two-color housing allows for easy identification of the float position.
