The Stormwater Catch Basin from Orenco Systems provides an alternative to a concrete or steel catch basin. It is ideal for areas that require filtration of stormwater before on-site release or to a stormwater collection system. Its lightweight, durable construction makes it quick to install, and its easy-to-remove filter screens make it simple to service and maintain. If needed, the basin can be cut down to 24 or 30 inches. The SCB1236-6L model has 6-inch NPS inlet and outlet pipe couplings. All other models have 4-inch NPS couplings. Hydro Gate fabricated slide gates from Mueller feature custom extrusions or structural and brake-formed angles, channels and plates, and are assembled using welds and bolts. The valves are designed for either open channel use or aperture type applications used in flood control and other drainage systems. Open-channel gates have no frame member or seal at the top of the slide. These gates will overflow. Aperture gates (over an opening) have top frame members and seals to shut off flow at depths greater than the slide height. Head capacity is dependent on opening size and availability of structural members. Fabricated slide gates are usually furnished with rubber and UHMW seals for water-tightness.
