Frank Petise was hired as the director of public works for the town of Fairfield (Connecticut). Stormwater drainage is among the department’s responsibilities. He replaced John Marsilio, who served as interim public works director until his retirement.
The city of Cloquet received a $400,000 grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to reconstruct stormwater drainage infrastructure.
The town of Clayton (North Carolina) hired Jonathan Harris as engineering director and Kinsey Holton as assistant engineering director. Their duties will include stormwater management projects.
The city of Winnsboro received a $2.7 million grant from the South Carolina Office of Resilience for the Fortune Springs Park Stormwater Project. The improvements are funded by SCOR’s American Rescue Plan Act Stormwater Infrastructure Program.
