Legacy Equipment acquires AG Truck

Legacy Equipment Co. acquired AG Truck Equipment Co., supplier of truck-mounted equipment and specialized vocational trucks, and The Truck Shop, a retail store for truck and van storage. The new entities will be combined with Legacy Equipment Rental to form Legacy Equipment Co. AG Body will continue as an ongoing business and operate independently.

 

Vanair names marketing coordinator, supervisor, planner

Vanair named Elizabeth Sanchez marketing coordinator, promoted Gregg Haymann to supervisor for factory installations, and hired Richard L. McNeal as production planner. Haymann brings 24 years experience to his position, while McNeal has 30 years experience.

 

Best Controls hires sales engineer

Best Controls Co., manufacturer of custom electrical control panels and controllers for industrial and municipal applications, hired Jeff Groves as sales engineer. He has an extensive background in motor control, PLC and programming.

 

Copperwing adds media planner, buyer

Copperwing Design hired Natalie Panciera as media planner and buyer. She is responsible for the development of multimedia plans, strategies and campaigns in support of client goals and objectives. Copperwing serves clients in the water and wastewater industry.

 

APWA’s LaFever named ISI board chairman

Howard B. LaFever, principal with GHD (formerly Stearns & Wheler), was named chairman of the board of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. LaFever is a lifetime member of the American Public Works Association and served as a founding member of APWA’s Center for Sustainability.

 

Terre Hill Composites names Oberti president

Terre Hill Composites, provider of infrastructure rehabilitation products, promoted William E. Oberti to president. He joined the company in 2000 and was named vice president and general manager in 2006.

 

Ratech launches redesigned logo and website

Ratech Electronics, manufacturer of pipeline inspection camera systems, redesigned its website, www.ratech-electronics.com, logo and catalog.

 

ADS plans manufacturing facility

Advanced Drainage Systems, maker of corrugated plastic pipe, plans to open a manufacturing facility in Watertown, S.D., this summer. When open, ADS will have 55 manufacturing plants worldwide.

 

Perma-Liner acquires manufacturing, distribution space

Perma-Liner Industries acquired 34,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space, bringing total square footage for its Clearwater, Fla., facilities to 60,000 square feet.
