The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Resources awarded the New River Soil and Water Conservation District a $109,300 grant to support its West Jefferson Stormwater Detention Project.The city of Southgate (Michigan) received a $692,000 grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to upgrade its stormwater system.The city of Billings, Powell County, and the city of Wolf Point each received $40,000 from the Montana Department of Commerce to complete stormwater system preliminary engineering reports.
