The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Resources awarded the New River Soil and Water Conservation District a $109,300 grant to support its West Jefferson Stormwater Detention Project.
The city of Southgate (Michigan) received a $692,000 grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to upgrade its stormwater system.
The city of Billings, Powell County, and the city of Wolf Point each received $40,000 from the Montana Department of Commerce to complete stormwater system preliminary engineering reports. The funding is through the MDC’s Montana Coal Endowment Program.
The city of East Providence received $500,000 from the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank’s Municipal Infrastructure Grant Program. The funds will be used for improvements in the Greenwood Avenue stormwater management area.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources awarded the city of Springfield $10 million in financial assistance to upgrade its stormwater system.
