Joshua Malkin was hired as the public works director for Asotin County (Washington). Among his responsibilities is overseeing the stormwater department.

The Arlington County Department of Environmental Services received a Silver Award for the Ballston Wetland Park retrofit project, which improved stormwater flow. The honor was part of the Virginia Governor’s Environmental Excellence Awards.

Nitsch Engineering (Massachusetts) received a National Recognition Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for its work in developing the Green Infrastructure Handbooks for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission. The project is designed at enhancing stormwater management and climate resilience in Boston.
