Joshua Malkin was hired as the public works director for Asotin County (Washington). Among his responsibilities is overseeing the stormwater department.The Arlington County Department of Environmental Services received a Silver Award for the Ballston Wetland Park retrofit project, which improved stormwater flow. The honor was part of the Virginia Governor’s Environmental Excellence Awards.Nitsch Engineering (Massachusetts) received a National Recognition Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for its work in developing the Green Infrastructure Handbooks for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission.
