RootX
Pipeline roots can cause blockages that result in sanitary sewer overflows. Removing roots by cutting is a good short-term solution. However, when you cut roots, you can encourage new aggressive growth, which can cause more frequent blockages and possibly more damage to the pipe. Chemical root control is a long-term solution to pipeline root intrusion which will stunt, not encourage, new root growth and not damage the pipe. The RootX root control product can be a tool for a community to reduce sanitary sewer overflows caused by root blockages. 800-844-4974; www.rootx.com
