New York City Parks and the New York City Department of Design and Construction announced that Starlight Park in the Bronx won the top award in the 2024 AIAY and ASLANY Transportation and Infrastructure Design Excellence Awards in the category of Open Space. The park features several design components, including some that address stormwater issues.The International Erosion Control Association announced the winners of the 2024 Environmental Excellence Awards. The program acknowledges accomplishments within the erosion and sediment control and stormwater industries.
