Asahi/America introduces new district sales manager

Asahi/America has added Chris Cain to its outside sales team as district sales manager. Cain joined Asahi/America in February as district sales manager for the southeastern sales region of Florida and Georgia. He brings over 25 years’ experience to his new role where he will be responsible for supporting distributors and customers within his territory, offering product recommendations, support and project assistance.


Flomatic promotes Daniel Hidalgo to LATAM sales and marketing manager

Flomatic Valves has promoted Daniel Hidalgo to the position of LATAM sales and marketing manager. In this dual role, he will continue to drive Flomatic’s marketing strategy globally while expanding the company’s presence in the Latin American market, which includes countries in Central and South America as well as Mexico and the Caribbean.


OBIC 1100 approved for potable water applications

OBIC announced that its flagship product, OBIC 1100, has received certification from the Israel Institute of Standards for use in potable water applications. OBIC 1100 is already NSF-61 certified in the U.S., and the product’s proven safety and performance played a key role in facilitating the rigorous testing and approval process in Israel. The Israel Institute of Standards mirrors the testing and performance protocols used in the U.S., ensuring that OBIC 1100 met stringent safety and material requirements.


McElroy commended for participation in OSHA’s SHARP program

In May, McElroy was recognized for its commitment to workplace safety and its participation in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program. Oklahoma Labor Commissioner Leslie Osborn presented the company with a proclamation commending leadership and employees at McElroy’s campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Osborn and OSHA Consultation Director Jason Hudson also presented company leadership with a flag commemorating McElroy’s SHARP-certified status. SHARP is an on-site consultation program that offers confidential occupational safety and health services to small- and medium-sized businesses in the U.S., free of charge. Consultants from local agencies or universities work with employers to identify workplace hazards, provide advice for compliance with OSHA standards and assist in establishing and improving safety and health programs.


Aries Industries celebrates 40 years

Aries Industries is marking its 40th anniversary with a renewed commitment to the strong partnership culture that has fueled the company’s longevity. Headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with service centers in three states and Ontario, Canada, Aries Industries has charted a journey of innovation since being founded in 1985 in Sussex, Wisconsin. Its first product, a black-and-white camera, launched in 1988. A color camera followed a year later. U.S. Grout expands Texas facility

U.S. Grout, in partnership with Avanti International, has expanded its production capabilities with the launch of a second production line for its Ultrafine VX and SD cementitious grouts at its Idaho facility. This milestone comes after more than 20 years of successful collaboration between U.S. Grout and Avanti, providing permanent, deeply-penetrating, densely curing grouts for sealing fractures in rock, controlling groundwater and stabilizing weak soils. 


USG Water Solutions named CRWA Preferred Provider of the Year

USG Water Solutions, a water utility services provider specializing in storage tanks, plant rehabilitation, metering and distribution systems, has been named the 2025 Preferred Provider of the Year by the California Rural Water Association. Simmons Pump and Supply opens third location in Arizona

Simmons Pump and Supply, a provider of pump systems and water well supplies, has opened its third U.S. location in Willcox, Arizona. The company — which has been headquartered in Lubbock, Texas, since 1953 — also operates a facility in Garden City, Kansas. Simmons took over an existing 30,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility to house its sales, management, production, engineering and distribution operations. The property also includes an adjacent 10,000-square-foot turbine pump testing facility, which will be managed by Simmons’ longtime pump manufacturing partner, SIMFLO.

Carboline names Ali Shah VP of global research, development and innovation

Carboline announced that Ali Shah has joined the company as vice president of global research, development, and innovation. Shah brings over 22 years of product innovation experience, having held leadership positions with global chemical companies, including Dow, Eastman, PPG and Lubrizol. 


Felling Trailers updates its leadership team

Felling Trailers has appointed Nathan Uphus as director of sales and promoted Jake Meyer to sales manager. Uphus, a 25-year veteran of Felling Trailers, will focus on expanding the company’s presence in fleet markets while overseeing key customer relationships. Meyer, who has been with Felling’s inside sales team since 2015, steps into the sales manager role where he will oversee daily team operations, implement training programs for new sales team members and manage cross-departmental inquiries.


VARCo Supply marks its 50th anniversary

Founded by Harry Selfe in 1975, VARCo Supply is celebrating its 50th year in business. Now led by Selfe’s son, Ron, the company extends its thanks to all of its customers for their business.
