ASSOCIATION NEWS

The city of Palm Coast received an Outstanding Achievement Award for Stormwater Projects from the Florida Stormwater Association. The honor was presented for the city’s London Waterway Project, a 13-acre lake designed to enhance flood storage, reduce peak flood elevations and improve water quality in receiving waters through stormwater treatment.

The city of Hartford (Connecticut) received a $3 million grant from the state for stormwater improvements that will help support development in the area of Bushnell Park.

Carollo Engineers (California) named Millicent Cowley-Crawford as vice president and California stormwater lead, and Stephen Costello as vice president and Texas stormwater lead.

Samuel Moki was hired to lead the Department of the Environment for Prince George’s County (Maryland). The department handles stormwater issues, among other projects.
