Vivax-Metrotech expands with new facility in Malaysia
Vivax-Metrotech announced a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Malaysia. According to a company release, the Malaysian plant is designed to support scalable growth, adding manufacturing redundancy and accelerating time-to-market for key product lines, while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
Centrisys/CNP opens new facility in Wisconsin
Centrisys/CNP celebrated the ribbon-cutting of a new 70,000-square-foot facility on its Kenosha, Wisconsin, campus. Known as Building 4, the addition increases Centrisys/CNP’s total footprint to approximately 300,000 square feet and will support Centrisys/CNP’s production and repair of its largest centrifuges to date, while also providing dedicated space for aftermarket services and its growing rental fleet support.
Asahi/America announces updates to sales leadership team
Asahi/America announced several updates to its sales leadership team, including the promotion of Rob Marsiglia to eastern regional sales manager. Additionally, Ryan Diaz has joined the company as district sales manager and will be responsible for the southern California, southern Nevada and Hawaii sales territories. Finally, Stephen Harder joins Asahi/America as business development manager and will focus on the semiconductor and microelectronics markets.
ResinTech welcomes news sales reps
ResinTech has appointed Jamie Rebman as technical sales representative for its Regeneration Services division. Rebman will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales for that business unit across the U.S. Rebman brings over eight years of scientific industry experience and most recently served as regional sales director at International Pure Water.
The company also announced the appointment of Yasha Duggal as western region sales representative for lab and OEM products within its Filterworks division. Duggal will be responsible for driving growth across the western territory as ResinTech expands its high purity (Type 2) and ultrapure (Type 1) water systems to serve specialized laboratory and original equipment manufacturer markets. She holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University, where she specialized in life sciences research including antibiotic resistance, infectious disease and protein chemistry. Following her academic experience, she managed over 1,000 accounts across academic, clinical, government, biotech and pharmaceutical sectors in the Pacific Northwest at Promega.
California Water Service awards multimillion-dollar design-build contract
Covenant Technical Solutions was awarded a multimillion-dollar contract by California Water Service (Cal Water) to lead a design-build project focused on improving water quality through advanced mixing technologies and chemical dosing systems at five key potable water storage tank sites in Southern California. These systems will safeguard water quality, enhance disinfection performance and improve reliability for thousands of customers across the state. Each tank will feature chemical storage and metering systems to precisely dose sodium hypochlorite to kill bacteria, viruses and other pathogens that can cause waterborne illnesses. The dosing will also deliver ammonium sulfate to provide long-lasting disinfection and to reduce the taste and odor of chlorine.
Franklin Electric names new CFO and CHRO
Jennifer Wolfenbarger has been appointed chief financial officer and chief accounting officer for Franklin Electric. She has served in divisional CFO roles at some of the country’s most recognizable manufacturing companies, including Caterpillar, Stryker and most recently, Owens Corning. In her role at Owens Corning, Wolfenbarger oversaw strategic planning, investor relations, compliance and financial reporting for the company’s $4 billion global insulation business, including 50 manufacturing and distribution sites around the world.
Franklin Electric also added Daniela Williams to its executive leadership team as chief human resources officer. In her new role, Williams will be setting the strategic direction for talent acquisition and management at the company, overseeing all aspects of employee relations, compensation, benefits, development and compliance. She will serve on the company’s executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO. In her previous role at automotive technology firm Visteon Corporation, Williams oversaw all HR functions and global talent acquisition. She also launched the company’s first Women’s Leadership Program.
Hultec opens new facility in Texas
Houston, Texas-based Hultec announced the opening of its new U.S. manufacturing and distribution center in Spring, Texas. The 167,500-square-foot facility marks a major milestone in the company’s domestic growth strategy, enhancing its ability to deliver high-performance gaskets and sealing systems across the U.S. and global markets. The new Houston plant replaces Hultec’s previous Fort Worth location and significantly boosts the company’s production and logistics capacity.
